Volunteers

We need a lot of volunteers to make Dance Trance run smoothly. If you'd like to contribute some time and energy, we'd love to have you join us. And we need hosts for our out-of-town guests. Take a look at the tasks below, and, if you are interested, please let us know - email dancetrance99_at_yahoo.com.

Hosting - A wonderful tradition in the contra dance community is that people offer their homes for out-of-town dancers. This may mean a bed, but often, it means just offering enough space on the floor for someone to lay their sleeping bag. It also provides an opportunity to get to know our guests. If you are willing to be a host, please contact Rob Hayes - robhayes_at_hotmail.com.

Decorations - We don't just make a dance floor available, we create a magical ambiance! The decoration team will come early and make that happen. If you'd like to lend a hand, contact Jackie Wilsun - wilsundance_at_yahoo.com.

Facilities - The logistics of providing rooms, sound equipment, chairs, etcetera, goes to the Facilities coordinator and crew. Contact dancetrance99_at_yahoo.com.

Registration - This involves greeting, registering, and buttoning our guests. Registration will be on-going throughout the weekend. For more information, email dancetrance99_at_yahoo.com.

Food - We're known for our great food, particularly the dessert break on Saturday night. If this sounds like your cup of tea, contact Callie Paddock - cbpaddock_at_yahoo.com.

Lighting - contact Richard King - richard.king_at_kctcs.edu.

Publicity - contact Sally Bown - dancinlibrarian_at_iglou.com or Liz Natter - enatter_at_insightbb.com.
